Murrumabateman Eagles

Our history
The Eagles
The Murrumbateman Football Club was established in 2017 by a group of football fans with the desire to provide locals with the opportunity be involved in a community club and/or to play AFL football in Murrumbateman, and also to allow other local football spectators to align with and support their local football club.
The club played it's first senior football match in the 2019 AFL Canberra Community Men's 4th Division competition. Since then the Eagles have gone on to win the following accolaides:
- 2023 Community Men's 4th Division Premiership
- 2024 Community Men's 3rd Division Premiership
- 2025 Community Men's 2nd Division Premiers and Runner-up
Our small football club is going from strength to strength with fantastic support from the Murrumbateman community, the
Yass Valley Council,
AFL Canberra and our very generous
local businesses and sponsors.
The future is bright for the Eagles and we hope to be fielding both female and junior teams in the future.
